We participated in the 24th General Assembly of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR), of which we are a member. The meeting took place in Brussels from 12–14 June and was attended by more than 50 civil society organisations from across Europe.
ENAR, which has over 150 member civil society organisations, is the only pan-European network that advocates against racism and facilitates cooperation among civil society actors. Established in 1998 by grassroots activists aiming to bring about legal changes at the European level and achieve concrete progress toward racial equality across all EU Member States, ENAR carries out advocacy work in many countries and at the EU level together with its members.
The Association for Monitoring Equal Rights has been an active member of the network since 2013.
